Inviting God into your life isn’t just guidance, it’s upheaval. It means releasing desires, places, and identities you once clung to, and facing the fear of becoming someone new under His direction.
When people say they want GOD to guide and be a part of their life, I wonder if they really know what they are in for.It means that some people you want, you cannot want them anymore. Some places you want to go to, you cannot go anymore.
Some things you want to do, you cannot do them anymore. Some beliefs and ideologies that are dear to you, you must let them go. Now, this is where people are the most terrified, because beliefs and ideologies represents people’s identities and identities mean a lot to people—They can kill and die for it. They do not want anything or anyone shattering it all of a sudden; not even GOD!
